I bid you welcome to The Eternal Sea of Creativity website. Sharing of who we are, our experiences, what we are thinking is such a wonderful way to be in and of this world. Our apparent and perceived diversity is softened and ameliorated by this sharing. The blog on this website is one way for ‘us’ to come together, and touch upon all those ways that lead on the path to recognizing our ONENESS.
The book whose title is also the name of this website is the first one published. The second book: "In the Grand Manner" is currently a work in progress.
The background of the The Eternal Sea of Creativity book is that during one of my many moves (33 and counting) I found several files with a variety of poems, some quotes on cards, and notes from some prior saliencies into such topics as creativity, happiness, and the latest in quantum physics research and philosophy. These were retrieved from the trash barrel, as the concept of putting them ‘out there’ in some format came to mind. The result was a book published in 2011 through Amazon. I wanted to update that book, delete some things, and add some drawings, comments, and organization. This is what is now on the website.
Among the things I realized in reviewing the material was that I found myself in this day and age with an unfamiliarity with the person who wrote the poems and researched the quotes and other materials. That gets me to the basic questions I have been pondering for decades now and to some of the ‘answers’ that have come. These questions originally were: “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?” As my ego has been shrinking (that often comes with aging) the questions have morphed into: “Who are we?” and “Why are we here?” Terms and concepts like conscientiousness and observer seem like appropriate keys to help unlock the answers.
I have come to equate the Eternal Sea as having at least some of the answers to the questions posed above.
We are here to experience as much as we can, to enhance our droplets, and to return them to enrich the whole. Creativity is an important part of that, because if all you're doing is absorbing and experiencing, that doesn't add anything back. By creating, we contribute to that seat - we enhance the totality of everything.
